Wolverines News · Weekly AD Corner 12/12-12/18

Hard to believe this is the last week before Christmas Break but we are already halfway through the school year.  As we enter break we have a chance to refresh after finishing the semester.  Many of you are exhausted after taking multiples finals, completing projects, and battling everything else life throws your way.  My hope is you use this break to recharge and come back excited for second semester and 2017.  I know in my own life that sometimes you need a little jumpstart to stay motivated and be excited.  I think this is a great Ted talk by speaker and author of “The Energy Bus” Jon Gordon.  In it he talks about grit, vision, love, purpose, and legacy.  All of these words and their meanings are important to remember as we enter the new year and second semester.  I encourage you to watch the video and do some reflection over break to help lead to a great second semester.

Boys basketball is ranked #7 in 3A after their 5-0 start to the season in the most current basketball poll.  Great work boys, lets keep it going!

This Friday is our first home game with boys basketball taking on #5 Faith Christian.  C-team plays at 4:00, JV at 5:30, and Varsity at 7:00.  It is also Ugly Sweater Night so find your ugliest Christmas sweater and wear it to the game.

The basketball team is also doing a basketball toy drive at the game.  Please see below for more info.
