In a cross parking lot contest between Frontier Academy and University.  The Wolverines came out on top 52-35.   The Bulldogs took the early lead in the contest 12-10 after the first quarter, and 24-19 at halftime.  “I thought we did a good job defensively, but they still were able to knock down five threes in the first half.”  We talked at halftime about how we needed to keep playing team defense and help on their screen and roll.  We also talked about playing with more energy on defense.  I thought we did an excellent job at that in the second half.”  Coach Wood said.

The Wolverines held the Bulldogs to 11 points in the second half.  “I could not be more proud of how the boys played tonight.  We focused on defense, played GREAT TEAM offense, moving the ball hitting the open man and finding and not forcing shots.  Specially in that second half.” Coach Wood added.  “If we can continue to play like that, with energy, together, smart and again with lots of energy, this team will continue to improve and will can make a run at the state play-offs.
