Wolverines News · Wolverines lose at Strasburg

In Strasburg Tuesday night.  The Frontier Academy Wolverines fell to the Strasburg Indians 61-76.  The Indians built a 26-18 first quarter lead and never gave up the lead in the game again.  “We made some runs at them but could never get closer then four.” Coach Wood said after the game.  In fact it was a game of runs.  Each time the Wolverines would make a run and pull the game closer, Strasburg would make a run and rebuild their lead.  “I was proud at how we never gave up and continued and continued to battle right to the end.” he added.  “Strasburg has been ranked a top 15 team all year and in the top ten RPI.  This hopefully will be an indication to my team that we can play with the best in the state.”

The Wolverines scoring.:  Zach Hidalgo 30 points, Lukas Bowles added 13, Robert Noffsinger 5, Collin and James 4 and Elijah Hernandez 3.
